Fragrance Review
A beautiful and opulent sight of delicately merged flowers blooming in a timeless fashion in a vibrant setting. Your initial impressions of the Golestan are of crisp citrus and sumptuous ylang. Bulgarian rose absolute tempers the overpowering amounts of white flower absolutes, including sexy orange blossom, carnal tuberose, and sensual jasmine. These natural absolutes' vibrant appearance gives birth to a vibrant and voluminous floral fragrance. Rich, velvety patchouli and amber notes combined with sweet and gentle woods make up the base. Golestan is a modern, unapologetic fragrance that is inspired by sensual classics.
It all began when Andy Tauer went to the Paris Louvre in 2020. Though he had been to the Louvre a few times, he stumbled onto an area that he had never seen before. The history of Persian empires dominated the part.
Andy was fascinated by the grandeur, the monuments, and the more than 5,000-year-old cultural legacy. He started learning more and reading literature, and he eventually found images of the Golestan Palace in Teheran. The palace, often called the Rose Garden Palace, was constructed in the 16th century and was an absolute source of inspiration with its ornamental and realistic tile paintings. Golestan means "city of flowers" or "garden of flowers" literally.
